So, here is this week’s spread (in progress). There is stuff I will add during the week and some personal things that can’t go in this post (sowie). Anyhow, this is what my weekly spread looks like so far and printables+ stickers I used tagged under the spread.
Stickers
You can check out the stores by pressing the store name (linked in post)
Most of the spread is from Elle Fowler’s store Glam Plan printables and it is the White bridle Printable Glam Planner. This is for the Erin Condren planner, but I made it work by leaving a bit of the white space. I know, I still need to work on my ‘cutting’ skills, but I really like it (for my first try). So, bottom washi, half-boxes, and little flags from Elle’s store.
Bath tub , makeup brushes, little planner, and open book stickers are all from Michelle and Patch
The tabs that say Copy, plan,To grade and the donut sticker are from Lilly Top.
The stethoscope and the scales are from the Sassy Planner.
*If you want to buy a Happy Planner and you are not in the US, you can get one here.

Hi guys!!! My planner arrived. I am now an official member of the Happy planner club, so let’s talk about planners and stickers 🙂 Yay! I am officially a planner addict.
So, the Happy Planner
I got mine from Amazon and it cost me about $50 dollars which is a lot, I know, but then again, it made me happy, so who cares? It is black and has a gold heart in the middle. The cover is laminated and the interior cover is with polka dots. The month tabs are laminated as well. There are two pages dedicated to the monthly spread and then you have a two page close up of the months. There is also a note tabe on the left hand side. Each week has a pattern or a quote at the bottom of each week. The final page of the month has boxes where you fill in next months goals, birthdays, special events, things you shouldn’t forget and notes.
What did I do to the months that have already gone by?
I used washi tape to cover the months and I am using them to write down my blog post ideas, my blog statistics, and everything that has to do with blog posts. I am also going to use a section for all my passwords.
Here are some of the stickers that I got from Etsy stores. Some were sent to me for free and others I purchasede myself. I really like them all though which is why I am sharing them today (links to the Etsy stores are in the names of the stores)
*If you want a Happy Planner and are not in the US, you can buy the same one as mine by pressing here.
Remember to follow my blog (see side bar) and leave a comment below if you have any thoughts about planning. If you have an Etsy and would like to be featured, email me (about page). Press the planning category on my sidebar to find free printables and coupon codes to some of the shops mentioned here today. I will be back with another Etsy store feature, so stay tuned :).
Happy planning

So lovelies, it’s Sunday again and time to plan. Today I am featuring Julia from the Etsy store LillyTop. She also has a lovely surprise + a 15% thanksgiving Coupon Code (valid till the 15th of November 2015).So, start reading and let’s see what Julia told me!
Interview
Hi Julia!! Thanks so much for this interview!! I am really interested in hearing a bit more about your self and your store. So, let’s chat.
Can you tell me a bit about yourself?
Hi Joanna! Well, I am a married and am a stay at home working mom of two boys. Seven years ago, my American husband and I moved to the USA from Germany. I love everything cute and girly. My creative outlets are diverse. I sew, knit, bake, and make paper goods, which include stickers, cards, party decorations, and more.
How and why did you start making stickers?
I have a very bad memory and I used to use sticky notes and note pads to write down important dates. However, they can easily get lost and I would end up with a purse full of paper. I always forgot something. I am not a fan of mobile phone planners, so the solution was a paper planner. Since my penmanship is not the best, I like to use a lot of stickers. The stickers I found did not always meet my needs or taste. They were often not bright and colorful enough for me. So, I started making my own.
What can someone find at your Etsy store?
In my Etsy store people can find almost every sticker I use in my own planner. In addition, I made some of the stickers according to customers’ wishes. The focus is functionality, while being cute and colorful. The seasonal stickers are more to decorate the pages.

What are the advantages and what the disadvantages of having an Etsy store?
The advantage of having an Etsy store is definitely the traffic that the platform brings to your shop. This is the best advertisement. When people look on Etsy they know most of the shops are owned by real people and what to expect. We make our products the best they can be. Our goal is to try to offer the best customer service and we like to make people happy with our products. I like the idea to give my money to mothers who need it or small businesses and not to corporations. This is why I like to shop on Etsy, too. I get a handmade item (not in all the shops though, that seems to change) and I support someone in a similar situation.
The disadvantages are the high fees and the possibility that Etsy can decide to close your shop at any time they wish. I heard that this has already happened to so many people, who relied on the income from their shops. This is also the reason why I have my own web shop (Lillytop.net) in addition to my Etsy shop. My own shop also allows me to pass on my cost savings by offering better prices on some of my items or promotional discounts. We need to be real here. It is awesome to share the art you create and the items you made with your own hands to make other people happy, but we also rely on the income. If I can make people happy with what I like to do and earn a living with it, it is a dream-come-true situation, especially nowadays. I am very grateful for this opportunity! This is where I really would like to say “Thank You” to every single customer, blogger, Youtuber and everybody who supports me on this path. I appreciate all the help, input and support. I want to especially thank my husband, who helps me with everything that comes up and needs to be addressed.
Wow! There is a lot of interesting information there. Now let’s move on to planning. How do you plan?
I plan on the go. My planners are always open and when I need to remember something I have to write it down immediately. This way I do not need to sit down at a certain time to plan. I wish I would have the time to do that.
So, tell me Julia, where can someone find you? How can we connect?
Julia very kindly shared a Pdf file with us and you can download it here and make your own planner/scrap-book LillyTop Free Printable Thanks sooooo much Julia ❤

As you have already seen, I have published a number of planner/sticker-related posts, and today I am sharing with you another Etsy store owner interviews. Today, I am interviewing Kristen from Sassy Planner. So, let’s hear from Kristen 🙂
Hi Kristen! Can you tell me a bit about yourself?
My name is Kristen and I live in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; I’ve been married for 7 years and I have two “Irish Twin” boys (11 months apart in age) that are 2 and 3. I work full-time as a teacher during the day and run my shop at night after my boys go to bed. Basically, I never sleep. 🙂
How and why did you start making stickers? What inspires you when you make your stickers?
I started making stickers in January, 2015 after I got my first Erin Condren planner. I was looking for some functional stickers for all of my daily activities and couldn’t find anything that I really liked without paying and arm and a leg. I opened up my shop shortly thereafter. I’m inspired by everyday, often mundane activities.
Screen shot of the Sassy Planner’s Etsy store
Ok, let’s move on to your store. What can someone find at your Etsy store?
I specialize in functional stickers and planner dashboards. I may venture into personalized covers in the near future. What are the advantages and what the disadvantages of having an Etsy store?
I love meeting new people through my Etsy shop and being able to provide them with planner accessories at an affordable price (and FREE SHIPPING if they live in the US!) I really haven’t found there to be any disadvantages, except for maybe the lack of sleep thing. 😉 How do you plan?
I plan as things pop up. I’m not the type of person that sets aside “planning time” every week, because honestly, I don’t have the extra time. When an appointment, meeting, or activity is scheduled, I put it in my planner with a sticker, even if it is six months down the road. Sometimes I’ll put some washi down, but lately that hasn’t been happening very often!
So, that’s it folks. I placed an order and I am really looking forward to getting my stickers (I couldn’t resist the mini- books) and I really look forward to some serious planning!! Go over to her shop and place an order, she has amazing stickers. Check out my planning category for more Etsy store owner interviews, freebies, and coupon codes (sidebar).

So planner buddies, here is this week’s spread. At the moment I am more a functional planner than a decorative one.I use stickers but I also like white space. I don’t want my planner to be too busy. I am using my Teneues planner and the stickers are 90% printables. This is my spread and under the picture you will find out where I got my stickers.
Sorry if the pic is a bit blurry. Not great at taking pics yet (
I used printables from facebook groups I am a member of, a blog and stickers I got from Waterstones. So check these out:
I also used some stickers I got from Waterstone’s (the two round ones and the butterfly post-it note. Blog post here).

Hi Jenny, let me start by saying that I love, love, love your stickers. So, let’s start this chat.
Can you tell me a bit about yourself?
I am a born Miami (Cuban girl) Who loves her Seminoles! I am a stay at home mom, with one little boy and two lab dog babies. I was originally on a career path that I loved every minute of. I was a safety manager for a renewable energy company that built wind turbine parks across the US. My husband is still in the renewable energy sector! I miss my job but I like my new adventure. How and why did you start making stickers (tell me about your journey in planner/stickersville)?
I actually started making stickers for myself because I had purchased a ECLP and really could not make it work for me. I stumbled across some IG accounts with awesome layouts and I already had a cameo because I do some vinyl orders and I just started experimenting!
What inspires you?
I have always been a crafty person so I love seeing people use my products and love them! I feel better when I am creating! What can someone find at your Etsy store?
Right now in the shop we have lots of “pre cut” washi as well as samples and a wide variety of planner accessories such as stickers, tassels and planner bands. I also offer really cute planner buddy kits that are a surprise combination each time!
If you could turn back time to the day you opened your store, what advice would you give yourself? Any top tips?
I did not start on etsy with planner related items, my shop evolved that way. I would tell myself not to give up ! It took me a full year and then a little to get up over 1,000 orders and lots of trial and error to see what worked best ! I do wish I would have fallen into the planner world much sooner 🙂
OK, so, now let’s move on to planning. How do you plan?
I am the WORST planner, I need to plan when I do plan I feel better and I get more done! It is making the time to plan that gets me. I use lots of stickers but I also leave lots of white space, I am not one to cover every inch of white space. I like to put sticky notes on future dates so that I do not forget stuff, but I really do most of my planning on a day-to-day basis. Connecting with you Where can people find you?Well, atwww.shabbychickcrafts.etsy.com( our own website is in the works) IG @shabbychickcrafts
Thanks so much Jenny! ❤

I am a teacher and as a teacher I use a lot of stationery. Buying stationery is like being like a kid in a candy shop for me. Now that I am really into decorative planning, I have gone bananas with the stationery. So, in today’s post, I am going to try something different. I am going to share with you and review what I bought from my favourite bookshop in the UK, Waterstones. I ❤ Waterstones.
What did I get?
James and friends pencil-case
It’s so cute. Because I am a blogger as well, I thought, I gotta get this pencil-case and I did. It is plastic (good plastic not softie plastic) and see through, which is great, cause I get to see where my pencils and pens are. Waterstones price: £6.99. I ❤ blogging and now I have a pencil-case that reminds me to blog :).
Botanical Sticker & Labels
They are lovely labels and stickers. It’s from a company called Rifle paper Co. There are 30 sheets of vintage style label stickers and I think they are really pretty. Beautiful packaging.
Sicker quality: the paper is quite thick and it sticks easily on paper. It is also quite easy to take off if you make a mistake. It doesn’t tear your paper (my planner has thick paper and that’s what I have tested these stickers on).
Waterstones price £7.99. *You can get it from Amazon for $8.91 by pressing here.
Samples of pages
3D Butterfly Sticky notes
Post-it notes are boring, but these ones look really pretty. You can stick quite a bit on your paper and then pull up the wings, so it actually look like a butterfly on your notes (sheets). If you use them in a book or a notebook, then the butterfly will get squashed (still functions as a post-it note though). There are three colours: yellow, blue and pink. For more information about this product go to the company’s website http://www.suck.uk.com. (yeap, that’s the name of the company :p ). At Waterstones they cost £ 3.99. *You can also buy it now by pressing here. (Amazon price $6.17).
Get the hint- Wish list advisory tags
These are like sticky notes you use to tag things. I use them when I am planning and I also use them to tag stuff in magazines, especially now that I am a blogger. It is helpful to remember where you saw things. Tags say: I want this/ Love these/Buy this/ And this/ Yes please. There are 20 sheets per tag. Tags are made of thick-ish paper. Half is adhesive paper (sticky paper), the rest sticks out. You can find this product at npw.co.uk or npw-usa.com. * You can also press here and get it now (Amazon price: $6.27 at the moment of this post).
So, I am sorted for the time being. I got my pretty stationery and I am ready to blog, plan and shop. This was my ode to pretty stationery. ❤ ❤

Today I am featuring another Etsy store owner. I will be talking to Michelle from Michelle and Patch.
Interview
Hi Michelle,
I am really happy you agreed to this interview and let me just say that I ❤ your stickers!! So, let’s chat.
Can you tell me a bit about yourself?
My name is Michelle, I have a degree in interior design and I am currently studying to become an Art and Design teacher. I love to eating, sleeping and watching Netflix. How and why did you start making stickers?
I have always had the benefit of a planner, which, in the past I used purely to keep track of appointments. I began to use my planner and calendars more heavily as I was applying to university last year. I was juggling a part-time job, work experiences, interviews and a whole host of other things. My planner became scribbled with so many notes and changes that there were some days where I couldn’t read what I was supposed to be doing. As a result, I was at times forgetting or misreading the tasks I was meant to do. It was a planning method that just didn’t really work for me. It was on YouTube that I discovered the planning community and stickers.
After a bit of research, I ordered a few sticker sheets to try it out. It was a way of organising and planning that instantly clicked for me, it was clean, and instead of writing huge amounts to remind me of talks I needed to do, I could just look at a little picture.
When I went looking for more stickers to add to my collection however, a lot of shops didn’t have stickers that I would have really liked. Adding to that, most of the shops that had stickers I wanted were from America so it was a long wait time for stickers arriving, and the cost of shipping as well, as the actual stickers all added up to be quite a lot of money. It wasn’t quite within my budget.
I have always had an attitude of, “if I can’t afford to buy it, I will make it myself” and it’s what I did here. I illustrated a few of the icons I wanted for myself, transferred them onto the computer, printed and cut them out. At first, I only planned on using them for personal use, but people around me began to ask about them and eventually I put up my fist stickers on Etsy in May 2015. What can someone find at your Etsy store?
You can find a variety of stickers for planners and journaling. Stickers range from functional to decorative. These include stickers for the everyday like grocery bags and post boxes or more fun sets like the Halloween set and the getting pretty set. What are the advantages and what the disadvantages of having an Etsy store?
Advantages are that the shop is entirely within my control. If I have assignments coming up or a holiday, I can close the shop and reopen when I like. It’s a great opportunity to really create a brand, going all the way from a logo to the packaging. It’s also just a great experience of being your own boss and learning every aspect of running a small business. Through social media I am able to communicate with my customers easily and very quickly with shop notices about closures or updated shipping days etc.
Disadvantages are that you have to learn every aspect of running a business, I have to make sure that I price things correctly, so that what I charge covers the cost of my fees, material costs, postage and packaging and make sure that I have enough profit in order to keep my shop open. Having an Etsy shop also means that money is not consistent every week. Some weeks are incredibly busy! While other weeks are slightly quieter and it’s something you do need to keep an eye on, particularly when it comes to re-ordering supplies and you have to make sure you have enough to purchase more when you need to. Now let’s talk about planning. How do you plan?
I usually plan once a week (usually on a Saturday or Sunday). I start with an undecorated page, which usually has a few sticky notes reminding me of what I have to remember to do on those days. I prefer using sticky notes as I can move them around without making a mess of my week and keep the page very clean and clear at all times. My planner is in a horizontal style and, when I start decorating, I usually split each day into 3 even sections with scrapbook paper and washi tape (I tend to be very decorative when it comes to planning). Once I have my basic layout, I use my stickers to indicate events that are definitely happening throughout the week. The rest of the individual days I fill in as I go or record at the end of the day.

So, it’s Sunday morning. Coffee ready, music playing. I take out my stickers. I bought this set from FruVesas Printables. It is the Ocean Roses printable.
I do not have an Erin Condren planner (yet) but I do use stickers on my Teneues planner cause I ❤ decorative planning.
This week’s spread
My planner has two pages per week. One with the days (horizontal layout), the other page is a lined notes page.
Page with days
I have written down the things I want to get done in each box. I have used little tear drops and written the things I want to be doing everyday. So, the tear drops stand out and I do not have to write my repeated tasks on every single day’s box. What I want to be doing everyday? Read a bit of my book, and ride my stationary bike. I used a half box sticker as a header on the last column and have written down all my blogging ideas.
Notes page
The thing I like about this particular planner is that there is a notes page next to the page with the days. I write all my to Dos there. I can write whole sentences which is great cause I can think a bit more and see what I wanna do.
I use banners as headers on my notes page
One banner is for my face to face lessons, one for my online work, and one for bills/calls/emails.
Final thoughts
So, far this decorative planning is working great for me cause I like pretty stuff and it is kind of inviting. I spent about 45 minutes cutting/ sticking and writing. If things come up during the week, I will add them later. I sort of have an overview plan and then I add things throughout the week.
Also, if you are wanting to buy an Erin Condren life planner, I have a $10 off offer for you guys if you purchase the Erin Condren Life Planner by pressing the words $10 off my ELCP below (this is a referral link).
As I have said before, I will be focusing on all things planning. One of the fads I am really enjoying at the moment is decorative planning ❤ . I do not go to extremes, but I do use stickers on my planner from time to time cause it is fun, crafty and relaxing (huh? Yeap!). So, today I am going to share with you Anna’s story. Anna is from Sweden. She has an Etsy store called FruVesasPrintables. We had an online chat. So let’s see what she says!
My chat with Anna
Hi Anna! Thanks for agreeing to this interview and let me start by saying I love you stickers and I am really excited to share some with my readers.
So, Anna tell me how did you get involved in making stickers?
I got started in this community about 1,5 years ago when I started my economic university program online. I realised I needed to plan hard to make sure I was accountable and got the work done. I searched high and low here in Sweden for a cute planner since everyone knows a cute one helps :). That’s when I found Kikki K and Erin Condren and the whole decorated planner community. I fell in love, but I quickly realised that international shipping would kill my student wallet, so I started buying printables on Etsy.
After a while, I started to realise that some of the things I wanted, I couldn’t find, so I started to make my own printables. I shared some of them in the Facebook groups I was involved in and got some great feedback. I then realised that it was tons of fun to make sticker printables, so I looked into starting my own Etsy shop to expand my income, because study loans aren’t much to live on when you have children.
When did you open your own shop?
I took the plunge late June this year and I love it! I have since taken a break from my studies to get a job and study on the side. Since the shops going rather good, I am in the making of starting my own company to be able to keep the shop running long-time. The tax laws here in Sweden demands it and it’s a nervous but a happy time.
Anything for teachers at your store?
At the moment, I don’t have anything teacher specific, but I have an idea list I am constantly making longer… 🙂 (a surprise is coming your way at the end of this post lovely readers 🙂 )
How do you plan your weeks/life?
Right now I use a printable week on 2 pages printable from an Etsy seller in my Kikki K for my overall planning. I also have a horizontal Erin Condren I was going to use, but I now use it as a journal which I decorate with patterns and fun stuff. In my regular planner, I mostly use functional stickers because I am more of a functional girl than I am a decorative one 🙂
Anna’s planner
Where can we find you?
I have an Instagram associated with the shop @fruvesasprintables and the Etsy shop’s address is fruvesasprintables.etsy.com (click the link to check out her store).
Anna
Freebie 🙂
Anna kindly suggested to make a freebie printable for you. All you need to do is get adhesive paper (A4 sticker paper), adjust your printer to photo or good quality printing, print your stickers, and join me on this decorative planning journey!! I have a Facebook page where you can go and send me pictures of your planner once you have used the stickers (that would be so cool, check out the sidebar). The stickers have butterflies, books, pencil and paper clips and are very student/teacher friendly ( I am a teacher). They are really, really pretty. Thanks Anna so much <3.
