Hi Everyone! I am doing Vlogmas!! Yup! Well, vlogmas with a twist.
You see, my life ain’t full of stuff worth sharing, but there will be days where I do a “day in the life.. ” type of video. So, there will be more vlogs.
Content videos
On days when I do not upload a “day in the life” video, I will be sharing a content video.
So far I have pre-filmed a massive makeup haul 🥰, an Amazon gift guide and a thematic gift guide. That last video has been so much fun.

Back to Vlogmas
In today’s vlogmas I open the first doors of my advent calendars (ASOS and M&S), I show you my makeup and skincare routine (kinda and brief), I make my yummy leak and potato stew (delicious) and write in my planner.
This is my makeup of the day
Foundation No7, Hourglass blush/ bronzer
Mac lippie in Velvet Teddy.
I really hope you have time to check out my vlogmas and maybe subscribe?
Time for another favourites YouTube video. Accompanied of course by a blog post. I have said numerous times that I love watching favourite videos because you get the opportunity to see what people are loving and using. You also learn about fails!
💯 likes
So, what did I like this month?
Natasha Denona eye shadow mini palette. I have the glam and the nude palette. These eyeshadows are so pretty. The formula is very pigmented and easy to blend. I love it! They are around £22 for five mini shadows.
Fave lippies
I have said it many, many times. Clinique pop for the lips! My fave. They are hydrating and so comfy on the lips. A must. If you are looking for a dupe, check out MaxFactor Elixir.
So, I talk about loads more. This was just a taster. Check out my video here.
Do you have a makeup/ skincare loving friend, relative, co-worker?
Are you looking for stocking filler ideas? If so, I have you covered!
Gift Ideas for Makeup and Skincare lover
I shared a video on my Youtube channel and talked about different things you could get your friend. I am also doing a giveaway. If you want some inspo, check out my video! If you want to take part in my Giveaway, make sure you are a subscriber!
I haven’t posted in forever. Truth is, I am consistent when it comes to my YouTube channel, but I always tend to neglect my blog. I plan to do better though.
Most of my makeup faves on my face
I posted a Youtube video with my monthly favourites. I love to watch favourites because you get a sense of what people really like and recommend. At this point, I need to say that I really dislike fave videos that include paid promotions….
🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨
Anyway, let’s get down to faves. I am giving you a snippet here and loads of beauty, skincare and random ones in my faves!
Hourglass Universe Palette
I bought it. I love it. It is the only palette I used when travelling. I use all the pans and even use it on my eyes. I have received loads of compliments. The powders are so beautiful you can build the intensity. It is “espensiv” tho

Elemis cleansing balm (rose)
I love this balm. Yes, it is a splurge, but it is so nice and You and I are worth it! It leaves your face nice and soft and does not strip it making it feel dry! I use it as my first step when cleansing!
💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋
Mac-Velvet Teddy
I have been using this lippie loads the past month. It is a warm brown lippie. It feels comfy and quite hydrating.
☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺
Sooo, now you got a taster of my faves, head over to my video and give it some TLC please. Let me know what your October faves were and consider subscribing!!
I went to Wilkos the other day and went straight to the Essence stand.
Essence is a brand I discovered when I was in Germany. Very affordable with good quality products.
I had heard a few YouTubers comment on how amazing the metallic eyeyshadows were. My Wilkos had some, so I bought some. Then my friend showed the Roses palette, which she had bought, and of course, I got eyeshadow envy and bought that as well.
I needed a new nail varnish. Tick. And finally, I repurchased my beloved lash princess mascara.
I also picked up a few products from Revlon and Maybelline. Anyways! Where am I going with this? Well, my Youtube channel has a video where I show you all these products and there is also a Giveaway! Open internationally. Ends 25/4. If you want to enter, head over to my channel and watch my video!
I do not know about you, but I find intricate makeup looks quite hard when you wear glasses. You see, I am partially sighted and colour blind, but I love makeup! That is why my makeup looks are more focused on keeping it simple, blended with a nice lip.
I pay a lot of attention to my base and aim for a glowy, natural look.
Skincare
in order to achieve a lovely look, I get my skin prepped. I use my serums and moisturisers and make sure that my skin is nice and smooth.
Foundation
One of the foundations I have been using quite a lot and love because it is very dewy, is the Nyx Born to Glow foundation. I think this foundation is not getting enough TLC online and if you have not tried it, you really should.
This foundation is a semi thick liquid. Not too runny, but not too thick. It goes on the skin effortlessly and looks like skin. You do not look like you are plasterd. I love it.
Another foundation I have been using and loving, is the Elf CC cream. A CC cream is not exactly a foundation. It has some coverage, but not too much. I think this one works well to correct pigmentation and make your skin look really nice and natural as well.
Out of the two, I think that if you are going for a dewy look, check out the Nyx one, if you want a good coverage CC cream, go for the Elf one. Both are around 10 pounds and have good lasting power. I would say around 8 hours. My skin is quite sensitive, but it has handled both foundations well.
Bronzer and Blusher
Moving on from foundation, I use a powder bronzer (currently using the Hourglass Ambient powder) and then I use blush. I always wear blush. I use my foundation to cover redness and then blush to bring back colour! Ironic, I know.
I keep my eyes simple. I usually use one shade all over the lid.
Lipstick is where I go all cray cray. The bright lip is what I usually go for. Drawing attention to my lips is what I do when I wear my glasses. My favourite lippies are from Max Factor (the Elixir line) and from Clinique (Pop)
Get ready with me: Glowy Look
Some background. I am 45 with redness on my cheeks and some pigmentation. My skin is dry and sensitive. I filmed a glowy get ready with me video on my channel. If that is something you are interested in, please check my channel out and maybe even subscribe to it.
I filmed an affordable skincare video with all my skin care favourites which cost less than 10 pounds. These products are great and work well on my skin!
Products mentioned are from the brand the ordinary, inkey list, simple, sanctuary spa and more!
So, if you are really interested in skincare, please do check out my video and subscribe to my channel!
Thanks so much for stopping by and let me know what your favourites are!
I reached my first little milestone on YouTube and have 500 subscribers!
To celebrate, I am holding a big giveaway related to planning. I will have two winners. I am giving away a Happy planner, a TN, lots of different washi tape and loads more!
