I went to London a few weeks ago and had a lovely time. I went to the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) and also the London transport museum. I saw lots of fashion items at the V&A and really enjoyed looking at the clothes. The exhibition I saw was the fashion in nature and it was lovely. There were beautiful clothes made from all sorts of items that can be found in nature. Loads of weird stuff and some small animals had to suffer in the past as well (was not expecting that 😦 ).I also went to the transport museum and saw lots of vehicles that were used in the past. I saw buses, taxis and the first ever underground cabin. For more click here and do subscribe. It means a lot to me xx
and you want to go out, but you are dreading the whole makeup putting on procedure.
You just do not want your makeup to melt off coz of the humidity and the heat. That is what this blog post is here for. I will try to give you my suggestions/tips on how to achieve a sweatproof makeup look.
Top tips
Keep it simple.
Make sure you use a moisturiser first.
Do not stack loads of stuff on.
I use only concealer to hide spots. If you use a foundation, use something lightweight.
Top your concealer with a powder. That will clog up your pores and reduce the sweating.
Use a waterproof mascara and no budge eye stuff.
Now, because I am also making YouTube videos and trying to lure you into subscribing to my channel, here is my makeup tutorial or better say, get ready with me. Keep in mind I am partially sighted so any makeup look that does not make me look like a clown is a little feat!!

YouTube promo time. I filmed a vlog cause my life is sooooooooooo interesting. What do I show you?
Two hauls 😳😳
A grocery haul and a Primark haul.I love watching what people think about food and seeing what they consume. I get ideas about what I could buy.
My Primark haul was a good one actually (mind my saying!). I got Tees and a really cool makeup bag (I strongly suggest you pick one up if you have the opportunity).
I also bought pressies for my family.
I show you my new lap top/ table tray. I like that as well.
I am using my white cane for the first time. I think that if you are partially sighted like me, you really need to get one! Of course I walk around York which is a lovely place!!
Here is my vlog. Do check it out and subscribe if you wanna hear more from me…..
More vlogs are coming your way this time from Crete, Greece, so stay tuned.
Don’t forget to connect with me somewhere, somehow (check the sidebar for details.
Sometimes you just want a quick and easy makeup look. Something that you can apply and be ready in 5 mins. Other times it is just too hot or you are just too lazy and don’t feel like a full face of products. That is why I filmed this video and why I am sharing this post.
I am sharing with you a makeup look that requires no foundation.

Products used
(ummmm what I remember….)
Estee Lauder Doublewear concealer. I love this concealer. It is long lasting and easy to blend into your skin. I also used my SPF which is Clinique city block. I like this sunscreen because it is a little bit tinted, but not much!
I used a Laure Mercier bronzer in 02 and my Becca Opal highlighter. I used my Benefit gold rush blush and on my lips, the Rimmel Stay Matte liquid lippie in Rose Shine.
On the eyes an eyeshadow stick (my faves are the Clinique chubby sticks) and some mascara (currently using L’oreal Paradise).
It is Friday (it was when I started writing this) and it is time for my 5 Friday Faves Youtube Video (and a promotional blog post which aims to get you to watch my video and maybe even subscribe to my channel coz I am trying to grow and no one really subs 😩😩). So, enough with the rambling. What are my faves?
🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻
Body shop
My Moringa hand cream is so hydrating, lightweight and smells amazing. I 😍 it.
The card factory
I love polka dots. I love pink. I love organisation. I bought a box which is sterdy and very pretty.
Marks and Sparks
The scent of 🌹 🌹🌹 and it is my favourite. I bought the Rose 3 in 1 spray. You can use it on your body, for your room, and linen. I know that sound weird, but I like it and I 💗 the scent.
Primark
I bought a couple of fake flowers from Primark and my friend commented saying how nice they looked. I really like them. Great decor for shelves and stuff.
My Cane
This is a weird one, but I needed a warning cane. I now have one, and my life is much easier!Having a vision impairment is hard. Accepting that you need help is hard. Getting help is great though.
If you want to hear more about my faves, check out my channel. It would be great if you subscribed as well (#beggingforsubbies).
Anyhow, have a lovely weekend. See you in my next post and don’t forget to connect with me somehow, somewhere.
So initially I shared this video on Friday and I called it five Friday faves. Catchy title, right? I never got round to writing a blog post though, so here I am on a Sunday at 8 p.m. blogging.
Back story
I ❤ favourites (videos), but I always forget to film one or have too many faves. That is why I started filming my Friday faves. They haven’t really become very popular (then again none of my videos have :P), but I do enjoy chatting about faves and I will do so here as well.
I have not finished reading this book but it is so much fun. It is about a lonely, kinda awkward gal who shares her stories. You should check it out. According to Reese Witherspoon (www.amazon.com)
“Beautifully written and incredibly funny, Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine is about the importance of friendship and human connection. I fell in love with Eleanor, an eccentric and regimented loner whose life beautifully unfolds after a chance encounter with a stranger; I think you will fall in love, too!” —Reese Witherspoon
Chubby Sticks
Of course I am going to go on about the Clinique Chubby Sticks. I love them. If you are partially sighted, like me, or a newbie makeup gal, you should check them out.
I have the lilac, brown, pink and beige/gold. They retail for about 17 pounds. I have had them forever. Nice creamy and they do not crease. Strongly recommend lovelies!!!See below the full colour range.
Lovely oil which I use on my hair and …… (wait for it) elbows. It smells very lightly and is not oily… for an oil. It leaves my hair feeling nice and soft. I only use a little bit on the ends. It does not leave my hair greasy. I really think this product is underrated. It has also helped my elbows soften a bit. A little bit goes a long way.

Sephora Beautifying Mist
Spritz spritz and you wake up without wrecking your makeup. Is that enough?
Lush Sleepy body lotion
It is supposed to help you sleep. I cannot comment on that. It does smell nice though and does seem to help me relax.

How are you? I hope you are having a lovely week. In today’s post I am going to share a new YouTube video idea I had. It is called 3 Tuesday Thoughts and I review 3 well known products and tell you what I think about them.
🌻🌻🌻🌻3 Products 🌻🌻🌻🌻
In today’s video I talk about Estee Lauder Doublewear which is my Go To foundation if I want a budge proof foundation and a porcelaine skin effect. I 😍 this foundation and in the video I show you how I apply it (sponge vs. brush) and what I think works.
I talk about the Stilla liquid eyeshadow in Grace. Are they worth the hype? Yes! They are opaque and stay on for a long time. I 😍 it (more details in the video -toot toot).
I finally talk about lip oils and my favourite Clarins one. It is the Instant light lip comfort Oil. The colour I have is a kinda orange. I tell you why I like it and swatch it.
If you are interested in these products, click on the video and check out for yourself. Let me know how thesebeauty products work for you. If you are looking for a new channel to watch, check out mine.
I have been watching Youtube makeup tutorials for a while and I really enjoy them, but they are not for me. What I mean is, I see titles like:
Makeup for glasses
Or
Get ready with me in the dark
And I kinda cringe.
You see, I have registered as partially sighted (visually impaired) and have achromatopsia (rare color deficiency). I cannot relate.
When you cannot see well, makeup tutorials for people who wear glasses cannot be intricate coz well…. you cannot see. It is as simple as that!
I filmed a Get Ready With Me video and showed how I do my makeup. When I watched it I thought to myself,
Who will watch this amateur GRWM?
But then I thought,
this IS my reality.
And the reality of many, like me. So, I shared.
GRWM
My focus is on the base (foundation). At the moment, I am using the Clinique Beyond Perfection foundation (I like it). I also choose a bold (ish) lip colour (I 😍 Clinique Pop).
My eyes usually have one colour on them. I usually use an eye shadow stick because they are easier to control and harder to mess up.
I use primers and setting sprays to hold the look together.
I do not really do smokey eyes or wings or yada, yada, yada.
Oh! And if someone is around, I ask them to check my makeup. See if everything is looking OK because I cannot seeeeeee.
You see, for me, putting on my makeup in the dark is kinda like a reality, NOT a fun YouTube click bait idea idea. So, if you are in the same boat as me, check out my video and maybe give me some tips. I will be back with more Get Ready With Me videos coz I need to be more descriptive.
