One Brand Focus: E. l. f

Hi lovelies,

I have another one brand focus post/ video for you. This time I am focusing on the brand E.l.f. I have gathered a few products from them and can tell you what has worked for me and what hasn’t. On the whole, I like E.l.f because most of the products have worked for me, it is affordable and they are cruelty free which is another bonus!

In this blog post, I briefly give you a run down (in my video, I share more details– shameless plug, I know, right?)

What have I used?

Brushes

Well, brushes. About 5. Brushes for da eyes, face, cheeks. My favourite brush is their blusher brush. When I first got it, I was a bit intimidated because, well, I got a lot of product all over my face. Now, I am careful and I like the brush. In my video, which is linked later on, I show you all my E.l.f brushes.
Eye shadows
I have loads of eye shadow sticks, but my fave is the no budge eye shadow stick from E.l.f. I have all the shades. My faves are rose gold and Moca. They are very creamy, easy to use, and long lasting.
Lip oils
I like the E.l.f lip oils, but they are not my faves. They are quite affordable, and make your lips look juicy. They are not very pigmented though and they do get a bit sticky.
Powders
I have the under eye high definition powder which is supposed to be used under your eyes (really??) to set the foundation/ concealer in that area. It’s a powder. It does not really sink into my fine lines, but then again, I do not really have any. It is fine and the beauty community thinks it’s really nice!
Concealer
The winner for me though is the E.l.f camo concealer. It is affordable, long lasting, and has coverage. I bought one that would help with brightening. Rally like it!!
Duds?
Yes, there are a few. I bought one of their star dust glitter eyeliners (shown in video) and I could not use it for two reasons. Firstly, I am not good at applying eyeliner and the applicator is a bit flimsy. That does not help eyeliner dummies like me. Also, it was not very pigmented. It was a bit…. runny??
Will I chuck it? Nope. I will use it as an eye shadow topper. You know, the middle bit of your eyelid area (where you may add some shimmer from time to time).

What E.l.f products have you tried and what did you think? Do let me know in the comments below. Do check out my video and subscribe to my channel if you like what you see (trying to grow and it is so hard!!!).

Thanks for stopping by…
xx
p.s. this is my previous one brand focus video/ post. Here I focus on Clinique.
