Hi lovelies,
We all like our skin to be nice and soft, don’t we? The older you get though, the harder it is. The T word starts to be part of your vocabulary when you go to Boots (T word aka Texture). Today I will focus on a skincare product I started using and fell in looooooooove with.
Facial Oils
During Christmas I bought the M&S advent calendar. In it there was a small facial oil. It is called.
I chucked it in my skincare stash and just forgot all about it. A couple of weeks ago I had a look at that stash and saw the facial oil again.
I first asked myself,
Do I need a face oil?
The answer is,
Yes!
Why?
- Face oils are very beneficial for you skin.
- They hydrate and nourish your skin, even if you have oily skin. They actually boost your moisturiser.
- Oils help you have a healthy glow
- They help make the application of your foundation smoother. If you have dry patches, your foundation may stick to them. When you apply an oil, those dry patches become softer, making your skin softer and smoother.
- Oils also act as a barrier against harmful pollutants. An oil is one more layer of protection!
Application
Put it between your palms, warm it up, and then apply all over your face. It is better to use it under your other products. It should be your first layer. You should do this morning and night.
How does it feel?
It does not feel greasy. It leaves your skin nice and soft. It does not sting. It makes dry patches vanish and it smells nice (light rose scent which is not really noticeable).
I have the mini and I will definitely buy the full size.
If you are interested in other minies that I ended up getting in full size, please read this post. Do you have any facial oil recommendations? If yes, what are they? Please let me know in the comments below.
